What personal information we collect and why
We only collect personal information from registered users and commentators.
Only webmasters are registered as users. The users name, nickname and email address is stored. The information is used to identify the user and recover the forgotten password.
Comments
When site users leave comments our this site, we collect the information on the comments form, as well as the user’s IP address and browser version information, to help identify spam.
When visitors leave a comment on this site, we collect the information displayed in the comment fields, including the IP address and browser version. Anonymized hash information created from an email address can be sent to Gravatar to know if the commenter is a user of the service. The Gravatar Privacy Statement can be found at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Media
If you upload images to this site, you should avoid uploading images that contain location information (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and view location information from the images on the site.

The e-mail address provided on the contact form on the About page will be used if necessary to respond to the contact. The information will not be used for any other purpose.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on the site, you can choose to save the name, email address and url in the cookie. This feature adds convenience because you don’t have to fill out the form each time you add a comment. Cookie information will be deleted from your browser after one year.
If you have an account and log in to the site, we set a temporary cookie that determines whether or not your browser supports cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and will be deleted when the browser window is closed.
When you log in, we set several cookies that store your login and display settings. Sign-in cookies will be deleted within two days, and cookies related to display settings will be deleted in a year. If you publish an article or edit an existing one, we store a cookie in your browser that contains the ID of the article you are editing. The cookie expires in one day.

How long we keep the information
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be kept indefinitely. This is because we can automatically recognize and approve the following comments instead of keeping them in the moderation queue.
We store user profile information for registered users (if any). All users have the ability to view, edit and delete their personal information at any time. Only the username cannot be changed. Webmasters can view and edit user profile information.
What rights do you have to your own information
If you have a user account on this site or have left comments, you may request a summary file of your own personal information, including any personal information you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal information. The right to delete your information does not apply to personal information that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Visitors’ comments may be reviewed through an automated spam protection service.
