How to watch Top Gear & Fifth Gear on net.

There use to be great site hessmo where all Top Gear episodes where available but unfortunately it doesn’t exist any more.

But no worries mate. There are still some locations where those series can be found.

On CastTV you can find all the Top Gear episodes

There are alternative locations on that site where you can try to get the video up and running (zSHARE/MegaVideo).

Trough FinalGear you can find Top Gear, Fifth Gear and Top Gear Australia episodes.  Unfortunately these doesn’t seem to be any online option available and you need to download the episodes using some Torrent client.

Another method to access those series is by using proxy service like Watch Some TV With . Me  

Simply put the target url in and try if it works. I haven’t tried it yet.

PuhujainKulma eli tuttavallisemmin PuhKu on viikottainen paneelikeskustelu-podcast, jossa Pörnin isännöimänä Suomen profiilikkaimmat podcast-vaikuttajat ja kuuntelijat keskustelevat uusimmista asioista liittyen uuteen mediaan, podcastingiin, internetiin ja teknologiaan.

I have tried to use these pages time to time from my mobile and these aren't very useful when used in mobile browser. I made a quick search and found out couple interesting links that should be checked.

I found some references to xe_mobile template (example) which I might test sometime in the future.

That template is made by XE-Media but it is practically impossible to find it from their web pages.

Muutamia Joomla komponentteja joita olisi syytä testailla:

• Joom!Fish – multilingual content manager
  Nimi kertoomistä on kyse.
• Gallery2
  Tukee myös useampaan sivustoa yhdellä asennuksella. Niin ja tietysti Gallery2 on syytä olla asennettuna.
• Gallery2 Image Chooser
  Galleryn kuvia voi käyttää sivustolla. 
• Gallery2 Bridge
  Samainen gallery. Albumi käyttöön Joomlassa.
• Forum
• Joomlaboard Forum
• Joomla-SMF Forum Se vanhempi jonka voisi ottaa pois käytöstä
• Guestbook
• Perrys Guest Book Tämän vanhempi versio taitaa olla käytössä nykyisin.
• Easybook Voisi olla myös hyvä

Vaikuttaisi olevan aika yhtenäistää sivustoilla käytetyt komponentit. -> Työtä tiedossa -> Saattaa mennä jonkin aikaa.

Sain vihdoinkin päivitettyä tämänkin sivuston Joomlan viimeisempään versioon.

Kyllä siinä riittikin tahkoamista. Ensin oli ongelmia sivuston url:n kanssa. Aikoinaan tuossa osoitteessa piti käyttää www alkua. Nykyään sitä ei näemmä saa käyttää (ainakaan Joomlan asetuksissa).

Lisäksi  softan sisällä muutama valikon kutsu oli muuttunut.

Nyt pitäisisysteemin taasen toimia
